Tim and Kerrie’s Wedding was held in Long Beach NY on Friday September 13, 2024 with their closest friends and family.
From the moment I met Tim and Kerrie, I knew there was something incredibly special about this couple. It was evident that they were selfless, kind, adventurous, and totally in love. It was also evident that Tim and Kerrie had a strong and established relationship.
As I arrived to their wedding day at their Airbnb just off the beach, I was reminded of all of those things about Tim and Kerrie.
After a morning with their family and bridal party, the two made their way down to St. Ignatius Church for their first look. Tim couldn’t wait to turn around and see Kerrie, and Kerrie was also very ready to embrace Tim.
St. Mary of the Isle, at Catholic mass on the beach, is where Tim and Kerrie met. Tim and Kerrie also chose to have their wedding ceremony and catholic mass at the same place that they met at. I thought that the choice to have their wedding back in the spot where it all started, was the perfect pick.
And after a lovely afternoon of exchanging vows and promises, the newly weds headed to The Sands where they spent the rest of their evening watching the sun set, indulging in the yummiest of food, dancing with their family and friends, and making the sweetest memories together.
Tim and Kerrie were incredibly intentional about carving out some time where they could enjoy the little moments together. While the sun was beginning to set in the sky, Tim and Kerrie chose to face the sunset, snuggle in close, and breathe in the moments that would begin their forever, together.
After a few photos, we snuck away so the Murphy’s could enjoy this time as husband and wife before they would join everyone back inside for their reception.
Remember how I said that Tim and Kerrie were the kind of people who were selfless and kind? During their reception, Tim was sure to take the microphone and publicly thank and honor those who have poured into their lives as a couple and as individuals. The Murphy’s truly were the couple that loved other’s so well with their actions and words, and demonstrated their selflessness in this way.
Tim and Kerrie, it has been an honor to get to know you both and be a small part of your wedding day! Congratulations, and prayers for you both as you begin this new season of life together.
