Luke and Ally’s wedding was held on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the Rooke Chapel at Bucknell University, with the reception held at The Barn at Boones Dam.

Goodness, we have had some SUPER hot weeks here in central PA, but on Saturday, it couldn’t have been any more perfect when it came to temperature! With a subtle breeze, temps that didn’t even touch 90 degrees, and a rain shower perfectly timed while we were inside the chapel for the ceremony, Luke and Ally’s wedding day couldn’t have been any more perfect.

Ally; kind, gentle, and beautiful, was one of the most relaxed brides I have ever seen. Ally was careful to soak in each and every moment as it was happening. It was evident to me that Ally was so appreciative of her friends and family and her bridal party as they helped create a wonderfully special day.

Luke; calm, cool, and ready to see his lovely bride. He was patiently waiting for Ally to arrive to the chapel so that they could share a private first look with each other. Luke and Ally quickly embraced in a hug after seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day. It was sweet to witness the excitement between the two of them as they were finally getting married!

After a beautiful ceremony, the people that the newly weds loved the most blew bubbles as they ran through them and departed for The Barn at Boones Dam.

Luke and Ally snuck away to a separate room to enjoy a private dinner by themselves while everyone else enjoyed cocktail hour. This was such a perfect plan because it allowed for the sweet couple to enjoy their dinner in quiet, and then be able to mingle with each of the guests during the dinner.

And if I could summarize Luke and Ally, here’s how I would do it; Luke and Ally are the couple that everyone wants to be friends with. They are the couple that pays attention to the details, that appreciates their closest friends and family, and doesn’t sweat the small things. With a surprise ABBA flash mob (arranged by her bridesmaids) to the song “Dancing Queen,” Ally and Luke were all smiles as they watched a choreographed dance to one of their favorite songs. It was the extra details and surprises like this and the dedication of her flowers to Ally’s mom that made me realize JUST how loved and how special this couple truly was. While they gave so selflessly throughout the entire day, others also did the same for them. And THAT’S how I know, the Stauffer’s are in for a long and happy marriage.

Ally and Luke, I wish you both many, many years of health, happiness, and lots of love. It was truly such an honor to be a part of your special day, and I can’t thank you both enough.
