Chelsey and Joe’s wedding was held on Saturday June 1, 2024 with their closest friends and family at The Laurel Lodge in Mifflinburg PA.

Joe and Chelsey have this special bond, and the sort of love that we all hope and wish for. Even back on their engagement day, at sunrise, these two knew how to make each other smile and laugh. The love they have for one another was; kind. It was sweet. It was true. It was genuine. And their love for Thomas, their 1 year old son, precious.

Chelsey and her girls rented a cabin in the woods for all of them to get ready at the morning of her big day. When I arrived, Chelsey was SUPER calm, cheerful, and anxious and ready to do this “forever” thing.

It’s not a shocker that Joe was ready to see his bride come down the aisle, and when tears filled his eyes as Chelsey was escorted by her mom down the aisle in the woods, we all got a little bit choked up.

Everyone knew that if Chelsey’s dad could have been there on Saturday, he would have been the one to escort her down the aisle. The emotion that filled those woods as the beautiful bride joined Joe at the front was overwhelming.

I love that moment. The moment when Joe was anticipating his beautiful, and she, him. And then as they were joined at the front, everyone wiped the tears out of their eyes, and we got to witness the two become one.

It’s one of my favorite moments from the day.

Later in the evening, Katie and Donnie the matron of honor and best man, shared some sweet words with our newly weds that led some of us to tears (again!) Finally, to make us all REALLY cry, Craig read a letter that Joe had written in honor of Tom. It was as if Tom was right there with us as he read that letter, and we were all a mess. The whole day had moments and pieces sprinkled through to honor her father.

Emotional. Meaningful. Beautiful.

We loved every moment of Joe and Chelsey’s wedding day.

It was the perfect blend of each of them and the love those two share is undeniable.

Chelsey and Joe, continue to put each other first, love deeply and sacrificially, and your marriage will thrive.
