A May afternoon with nothing but LOTS of rain in the forecast shaped up to be the PERFECT day for Thomas and Sarah as they started their forever, at the enchanting Laurel Lodge. A perfect venue tucked back in the woods, loved ones of the bride and groom traveled near and far to celebrate the beginning of their forever. Thomas and Sarah’s wedding at the Lodge was truly a perfect start to their marriage.
Sarah started her morning at a cabin on the property with her girls all gathered together. In the cabin you could hear giggles, stories from years ago, and moments of anticipation for the upcoming wedding ceremony.
Thomas and Sarah’s wedding at the Laurel Lodge was filled with laughter, tears, emotion, and plenty of unforgettable moments. As Sarah stood at the back of the aisle, linked arm and arm with Michael, who would escort her to her groom, everyone held their breath as she began her walk to her true love. The couple shared endearing vows that made some guests break out a tissue.
The couple poured their personalities into every detail, a cigar box to be enjoyed by many, a dessert bar to fit everyone’s appetite, and special charms attached to a variety of things to honor the ones who they wished could’ve been with them.
The maid of honor and best man both gave toasts that made us all giggle and feel the love that they had for their siblings. The food was absolutely delicious and locally sourced by Eat and Run Catering and Restaurant. With plates filled and guests coming back for seconds, everyone had full bellies as they entered the dance floor to dance the night away.
Thomas and Sarah’s wedding at the Laurel Lodge was everything a wedding should be – authentic, beautiful, and deeply personal. Surrounded by nature and the ones who love them most, they began their marriage grounded in joy and filled with hope for the journey ahead.
Here’s to a lifetime of adventures and deep love.
