“Your breath is drying out my eye!”
It was at that point that I had to stop what I was doing because I was laughing too hard to see. Hunched over, laughing. They didn’t even realize why I had stepped away. It was like the line “your breath is drying out my eye” was a perfectly normal thing to say. (I can assure you; I have never heard someone say that before!) It may be my new favorite line to have ever heard on an engagement session! While lying face to face in the grass; apparently one’s breath was drying out another one’s eyeball.
On the green rolling hills in Central PA, on her grandparent’s farm, we had the perfect evening to spend together for their engagement session.
To be a fly on the wall of their house, after these two tie the knot in September, my goodness; I’d be a fly full of laughter. I’m sure of it!
Together since they were sixteen, Lane and Colette have become each other’s best friends. You can tell by the way they talk to each other. By the way they look at each other. By the laughter they share between each other.
It excites me to see two people who love The Lord, entering into a marriage as best friends and getting excited to start this new chapter of life together.
From the donkey that will be making its way into Juniata County, to the running water in the house, to the many other animals that likely will show up on your farm, I think your home is going to be full of many laughs, sweet moments, and amazing memories.
Lane and Colette, I can’t wait to watch you marry each other in two short months!
“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
