A Beautiful Wedding at The Manor at Mountain View | Ben & Kimberly

As a Pennsylvania wedding photographer, capturing a wedding at The Manor at Mountain View in Harrisburg, PA is incredible for many reasons. With its breathtaking mountain backdrop, elegant ballroom, and wide-open outdoor spaces, it’s the perfect location for couples who want both beauty and charm on their wedding day. This past Saturday, I had the joy of capturing Ben and Kimberly’s wedding. Their celebration was filled with laughter, love, and some incredibly fun surprises.

The Manor at Mountain View Wedding Ceremony

Ben and Kimberly said “I do” surrounded by their closest family and friends at The Manor at Mountain View. This venue offered a gorgeous blend of rustic elegance and modern style. The views of the rolling mountains created a picture-perfect backdrop for their vows.

Kimberly looked stunning in her gown, walking down the aisle to meet Ben, who couldn’t hide his excitement. Their ceremony was heartfelt, emotional, and filled with those beautiful candid moments I love capturing as a wedding photographer.

A Fun & Unique Reception

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed some delicious appetizers while the bridal party and the newly weds captured some photos. After an hour of snacks, the guests headed to the ballroom for an incredible lunch catered by WGC Catering. The Manor’s spacious ballroom for a reception was anything but ordinary. I love that they keep decor on site for couples to choose from, it makes the couples days that much easier because they don’t need to prepare all of their own decor! Ben and Kimberly kicked things off with a very sweet first waltz, and then the highlight of the day came when the bridal party joined in on a hilarious scavenger hunt game!

The scavenger hunt was such a fun way to get everyone involved and laughing. From finding random items around the room, to completing silly challenges like picking up small children (which really made me laugh,) the energy was incredible! Not only did it keep the guests entertained, but it also gave me so many opportunities to capture genuine, joy-filled moments.

A Magical Bubble Send-Off

As the afternoon came to a close, Ben and Kimberly’s friends and family lined up outside The Manor at Mountain View to celebrate them one last time with a bubble send-off. The glow of the day, paired with the thousands of floating bubbles (because THIS family meant business when it came to bubbles and brought some additional, powerful, bubble blowers,) made for a dreamy and magical farewell. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
