Golden Hour Magic: Eric & Katherine’s Engagement Session at the Marina
Love has a way of making ordinary places feel magical—and for Eric and Katherine, their engagement session at the Sunbury Marina during sunset was exactly that: pure magic. While we almost postponed this engagement session due to MORE rain in the forecast, I was so thankful we moved forward with the evening. The rain stayed away, and the evening was beautiful.
With the warm glow of the golden hour settling over calm waters, the Marina became a stunning backdrop for a love story that’s been brewing. What started out as coworkers grew into a deep friendship, and now, life long partners. Soon, Katherine and Eric will begin the next chapter; Marriage.
From the first click of the shutter, it was clear how deeply connected they are. Eric’s subtle glances and quiet laughs whenever Katherine spoke, and the way she instinctively reached for his hand—it all told a story far beyond what words ever could. Their chemistry was effortless, their joy contagious.
Katherine wore a flowing, floral dress that danced in the breeze, while Eric opted for a classic gray dress shirt and blue jeans—a timeless combination that complemented the nautical surroundings beautifully. As the sun dipped lower, we made our way around Kury Point, pausing for kisses and stolen laughs under the golden light. It was romantic, authentic, and entirely them.
Their session wasn’t just about getting the perfect shot—it was about capturing who they are together. Playful, grounded, and completely in sync. The Marina, with its soft colors and open skies, gave them the space to just be, and the results were breathtaking.
As they prepare for their wedding day, this sunset engagement session will always be a reminder of this sweet, peaceful chapter of their journey—a chapter full of anticipation, joy, and love.
Congratulations, Eric and Katherine! I can’t wait to capture your special day in August! Here’s to many more sunsets together. 🌅💍
