John and Keri’s Wedding was held on Saturday June 29, 2024 on their potato farm with three hundred of their closest friends and family.
On *maybe* the most unpredictable weather day of 2024, Keri and John had planned their special day with about three hundred of their closest friends and family to be in attendance on their farm just a few miles from their new home.
Thankfully, the weather held off until the reception, and we were able to capture nearly every shot we wanted to before the storms rolled in.
They say rain is “good luck” on a wedding day, right? Thankfully, Keri and John’s relationship was built on much more than luck. It was built on the foundation of Christ, and I’m sure of this; this marriage, with Christ as the center, will thrive and luck WON’T be needed!
I absolutely loved John and Keri’s wedding day! Keri is the sister of a previous groom we captured in 2023, and we fell in LOVE with this family from the moment we first met them.
Keri was certainly a bride who was detail oriented. She was so thoughtful and included “busy bags” for the littles who were there, organized by age groups! All throughout their wedding day, there were special touches to make sure that EVERYONE had an enjoyable time at their wedding.
John and Keri’s wedding was packed full of moments that made us laugh, A LOT, and then also made us super emotional. From their private first look that involved tears and a few moments of praying together, to vows that made us giggle AND get choked up, to the planting of a tree during their ceremony, to Keris’ family singing their first dance, live, to their tractor send off when the evening was finished; the day was filled with tons of special moments.
The newly weds spent their evening chatting and dancing with their friends and family before enjoying a glow stick send off, and then a departure on their tractor.
John and Keri, thank you for the honor of capturing your special day! Continue to serve each other first, and your marriage is sure to thrive!
