Joe and Chelsey’s engagement shoot was held at sunrise on Sunday October 22, 2023.
When Chelsey mentioned that she and Joe would be interested in doing a sunrise shoot, I felt myself clam up a bit! Sunrise. I do NOT wake up before sunrise unless we are catching a flight to FL to head to Disney World. Or maybe when my babies were in the newborn stages. Otherwise, I do NOT see the sun, rise.
But Sunday I did! And GOODNESS am I ever glad I did! I loved the calm of an early Sunday morning with the cotton candy sky and a beautiful couple.
A couple so kind. So fun. So… awake! Oh. And referred to me by a sweet friend! [I love referrals! Thank you, Brittany Klinger, for the referral!! So thankful for you! And so thankful for all of my friends, family, and past customers who spread my name around.]
When you have an [adorable] newborn like Thomas, you do wake up before sunrise. And when you’re a hard-working man like Joe, you too, wake up before the sun rises. So, while this engagement session was a stretch for a gal who loves to stay up late and sleep in, it wasn’t for these two sweet humans! And not for Thomas either. Though, he did catch a bit of a catnap before it was his time to shine!
It was super obvious to me that Joe is a hard-working guy. But not only that, he’s an awesome dad to baby Thomas, and going to be an incredible husband to Chelsey.
You could see it in his eyes. It was one of the things that really stood out to me on their engagement session. Joe looks at Chelsey like he is the luckiest man alive. And Joe, you may just be!
Chelsey adores Joe. She often is reminded about how incredible he is to her, and how loved and seen he makes her feel. The love and genuine smiles between the two of them just melted this heart.
Your wedding in the summer of 2024 is going to be so sweet. So intimate. So special. And I can’t wait! Until it’s time to celebrate together and capture your incredible day, enjoy this season of engagement; marriage is next and it’s THE BEST!
